Double Flower Pendant
£19.00
Stoneware pottery jewellery pendant for yourself or as a gift
Hand building process
The clay for the pendant is hand rolled from grey stoneware clay and then imprinted with a range of designs. The pendants are left to dry for a minimum of 1 week prior to their first firing, which is to around 1000 degrees. After cooling, the pendants are glazed and then fired to around 1200 degrees depending upon the glaze used. Once cooled, a leather cord is attached. Whilst every attention is made in refining the pendants, they will be subject to irregularities in shape – each one is unique! The process takes around than 2 weeks to complete – this allows for the hand rolling of each pendant, drying before the first firing, glazing and then final firing and cooling.
The price is for one small or large / single or double pendant handmade in my studio in the Surrey Hills
